So this Wednesday we are traveling to Sicily and tasting the Grillo from the Ca’di Ponti family estate. This wonderful rounded white has bags of character and flavour and can be enjoyed on its own or with food. The grapes are sourced from the coastal area of the western tip of the island where the terroir is chalky with sandy patches. The wine has notes of peach and melon with a floral nose. Its great paired with shellfish, a light pasta dish and also salmon dishes. Saluti!
